How fabulous! My beach inspiration and interest started as a child growing up in southeastern Massachusetts. How fabulous to pick tiny slivers of opaqued glass from the sandy coast...how glorious to run down the beach with your brothers and sisters...just trying to catch the sandpipers. Sandcastles...freckles....summer memories that will last a lifetime.

ReplyDeleteMost often I get my beach inspiration from the Jersey Shore...but ideally would love to see the beaches of Maui again for inspiration of course.

ReplyDeleteLove this art! My beach inspiration is multidimensional. I live in a coastal state (east coast) and beach trips have been a part of my life each and every year of my life, several times a year as long as I've been alive. When I stand on the shore, it touches a part of me deep within, and now my children feel the same way. It is home to our souls in many ways. Our home decor includes coastal nods in every room and sea colors and tones as well. I would love to add this art to to it all! Thanks for a wonderful opportunity!
ReplyDeleteI grew up spending my summers on a sailboat in the San Juans. Years later I got married on the shore of Chesapeake Bay. Nautical, beach, and marine life is my passion.
